Hi guys! Can you believe there are only 10 days until Christmas! For this week’s Throwback Thursday I was inspired to post this nostalgic photo. I can’t say how old I am for sure here, but likely younger than Evie is now.
When I remember being a kid in winter, it always seems like there was much more snow back then. I’m not sure if my memories are influenced by my well-under-5 ft. stature at the time, or if we actually get less snow now. But it looks like my dad and I had more than enough to build our friend, there. (:
This view from my front door this morning inspired today’s TBT. Even though we were relatively sheltered from the blizzard-like gales, it was still a cold wait for Evie’s bus.
Fortunately, I didn’t have to drive in this weather, as I worked from my home office today. I really don’t miss my long commute on days like this! Even indoors was quite cold, hence the unconventional work attire.
What’s your favorite childhood winter memory? Am I the only one who remembers more snow, or would you chalk that up to global warming/climate change?
See you tomorrow, for Blogmas Day 15! Until then, I’ll be living by the fireplace, in this enormous cardigan.
