We have been having so much fun on the beach this summer! And it’s not just about swimming and sunbathing. One of my favorite things to do after work is to walk along the shore and wade in the waves.
We’ve also found tons of fossils on our walks. Most of them are corals of one kind or another, but I’m still keeping my eyes open for a trilobite!
I was crazy about dinosaurs and fossils as a kid. While Evie is much more interested in Barbie and Disney Princesses at the moment, she does get really excited when she finds a piece of beach glass!
I’m really looking forward to autumn beach walks as well. We’re still loving our new house and beach!
Collecting sea-glass is addictive, isn’t it? 🙂

It certainly is! We’ve got jars of it now!

Sea glass is sold on Etsy to artisans who don’t live near the sea but use the glass for art work. Maybe your daughter will make a pretty mosaic with your sea treasures?
