Blogmas Day 6: The Cat’s on Fire!?!

Hello guys. Today I (and my friend below) learned that bushy feline tails are extremely flammable. No, I thought to myself, “he won’t actually put his tail in the fire–he’d feel it before that happened. Right?” No, unfortunately not. I was sadly wrong. His tail actually caught on fire, causing him to bolt out of the room. Fortunately, the running seemed to have put out the flame before it reached his skin–so no one was injured. But the smell of burnt cat fur! >_< Yeah, you know those holiday candles I posted about? Useless.

This photo was taken a few days ago. Poor Vari likely won’t be frequenting this spot for a while.

Other than this unforseen cat-astrophe (sorry, I had to), I’ve spent today, working, writing (for work), and for a short while, visiting friends. There are a few more things, work-wise, I need to get done tonight, so I decided to post a quick update (about pyro cat) and a (quick) outfit of the day post.

Here is the very casual outfit I wore to meet friends for an hour this evening:

Shirt: Pull & Bear (Black Friday sale at Asos!); Jeans: All Saints (few years old); Boots: Ugg. Casual, comfortable, and now–not so pleasantly–scented with essence of cat hair flambé.

Goodnight, guys. I’m going to get some more work out of the way, and turn in. See you tomorrow for Blogmas Day 7!
