Yesterday was warmer than the usual February day, although not very warm in general. I took some pictures of this outfit because it’s hard to make an effort in February and I did today.

The sweater is over 20 years old. It’s a Theory Juliet sweater from around 2003. I was lucky to find one in decent condition on ebay a while back (they are pretty rare these days, but Theory released a similar style you might be able to catch on off-5th or eBay). The skirt is Doen, a brand that didn’t exist 20 years ago. I found this one second hand for a decent price and it’s probably my favorite skirt at the moment. The pockets aren’t just for show, they hold my mobile without warping or dragging down the fabric too much! Doen is having a second hand event online next week, but it’s probably easier and less expensive to find items from past seasons on Depop, eBay, or Poshmark.

I’ve become sick of waiting for better weather to wear my skirts and dresses so I’ve been experimenting with layering.

This is a Christy Dawn Bianca dress under an old Wildfox sweater that I’d forgotten I owned. Even though it’s freezing out, this outfit is warm enough for dog walks when layered with some leggings.

And of course the dog. 🩷
