Blogmas Day 23: Festive Knits and Face Masks

Hi guys! Christmas weekend is just about here! Are you ready for the big day? As I might have mentioned a few times over the past couple of weeks, it can’t get here soon enough for me!

Today I attended the office holiday luncheon, which was really nice! It was a casual attire event and I ended up wearing this cute Christmas jumper from Boden. I initially saw it in a Zoella video, and when it went on sale it was hard to resist! 🙂

It turns out it wasn’t a bad call since the Christmas jumpers I had planned on wearing, and purchased from BooHoo weeks ago, still haven’t arrived!

The beanies are from Love Your Melon, a terrific brand that donates 50% of every purchase to charities for fighting childhood cancer. I have a few of these and they’re definitely winter favorites, well made, and warm. I highly recommend them!

After the luncheon (where I received a really lovely monogrammed purse from my boss), I came home, worked for a bit (beside the Christmas tree), and spent some time with the kid.

Wondering if Santa or the Tooth Fairy will arrive first.

She’s very into Snapchat at the moment!

Then, I decided to try out this charcoal peel-off mask from Bosica. Nothing wrong with a good mask treatment before the holiday weekend! Although this mask got mixed reviews on Sephora, I’ve been wanting to try a peel-off mask for ages, and was looking forward to testing it out.

I put a pretty thick layer on after reading that it wouldn’t peel off properly without doing so. The mask took about 30 minutes to dry completely. Afterward, I was able to pull it off in two pieces. It came off fairly easily and wasn’t painful at all. It did, however, make my eyes sting a bit as it was drying. The result was really smooth skin! I’ll definitely be using this mask again.

I followed up with the Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask, which I received as a sample from Sephora along with the Origins Maskimizer, mask primer spray (something I’d never heard of before). I have both products on currently, and they seem like they’ll be super moisturizing, so far. The mask also smells really amazing. Almost like fruit, but not overpoweringly sweet or cloying.

So, that’s all for tonight. I’m feeling fairly ready for the upcoming weekend. Only 1 day, 2 hours, and 9 minutes until Christmas!
